Flowers In Steel At Cobb+Co Museum

Discover the delicate side of blacksmithing at the Flowers in Steel Beginners Blacksmithing Workshop at Cobb+Co Museum, 26 - 27 September.

Museum Director Deborah Tranter said national award-winning blacksmith Terry Drennan will lead the beginners workshop which requires less heavy hammer work than other workshops.

"The Flowers in Steel workshop is a great introduction to blacksmithing and demonstrates the versatility, creativity and relevance of blacksmithing and heritage trades workshops in general," Mrs Tranter said.

Other heritage trades workshops conducted by the Museum include lead lighting, leather plaiting, silversmithing and felting. For more information about the heritage trades workshops program contact Cobb+Co Museum on 4639 1971.
