What is the National Carriage Factory?

The National Carriage Factory development will complete the Cobb+Co Museum, creating a unique heritage training complex of both national and international significance.

At the heart of the facility will be a purpose-built, open plan working area, the National Carriage Factory Training Centre, where we will conduct a wide range of heritage skills workshops.

There will also be:

• a community 'shed'
• a Blacksmith Workshop
• a more interactive and engaging National Carriage Gallery
• an Inquiry Centre
• a new interactive Science Centre
• an expanded Binangar Aboriginal Centre
• a new international standard exhibition gallery, the Windmill Gallery
• the Show Ring Outdoor Activity Area
• community research facilities
• a Walkway of Honour
• a new Cobbs Coffee Shop with children's play area
• a new foyer and retail shop
• community and business meeting facilities
• state of the art facilities for parents of young children and people with disabilities
