Cut under buggy
| |
Description: The main feature of this buggy is the raised floor under the front seat so that the front wheels can move partly under the vehicle for tight cornering. There are transverse elliptical springs front and rear and sarven hubs. Colour: Black body with red and cream lining; dark blue undercarriage with white lining. History: This vehicle perhaps was a derivation of a mail phaeton with its turn out seat or even a cut under station wagon. The vehicle was owned by the Giles family of Sandgate, Brisbane. (Bolton Collection) Registration: H14824
