Description: A 14-passenger coach on thoroughbrace suspension would seat nine passengers inside on three rows of seats; three on the rear roof seat and two on the box seat beside the driver. The outside box seat passenger was expected to work the near side foot brake. Seven horses would probably have pulled this coach when it was loaded with mail, luggage and passengers. Colour: Body is maroon with yellow lettering and pink shading; undercarriage is yellow-cream with black lining. History: This style of Cobb & Co. coach was built at the company’s factory in Charleville though it was extensively re-built in Col Ferguson’s Toowoomba Coachworks in the 1950s.
