Throughbrace wagon

Description: Advertised in Cobb & Co.’s Catalogue of High Class Vehicles, 1915, as a 3-ton van with coach undercarriage, this wagon is 3.6 m long and has 100 mm wide tyres. There is a high driver’s seat but no tool box. The hole in the side was for the tap on a water tank which was a common feature on drover’s wagons. The front half rims need restoration, while the back wheels have felloes. Colour: White flaking paint on the body and traces of red on the undercarriage and wheels. History: Thought to have been donated by Sam Fuller from the Longreach area in the early 1960s. (Bolton Collection) Registration: H14821
