Description: This vehicle consists of a canvas covered stretcher mounted on a two-wheeled, rubber tyred frame with semi-elliptical springs. Four props support the ambulance when stationary and a metal tongue at the rear of the canopy carried a first aid bag. A step-down axle allowed the stretcher with a patient on it to be more easily removed from the undercarriage. Colour: Yellow undercarriage with red lining. |
