Hands on Workshops for Teenagers

Get Hands on at Cobb and Co Museum these school holidays and create your own unique hand made items that will be the envy of all your friends.

Cost: $75 including all materials and expert instruction

Our artisan instructors are all renowned in their fields and have been chosen based on their ability to work with teenagers, the world class quality of their work and their ability to create contemporary items using traditional techniques.

Workshop program

Monday 24 June – Leathercraft

Make a statement in the unique leather wrist-cuff you designed and created yourself or make a coin and key pouch that will make your coins will seem like a million dollars.

Tuesday 25 June – Wood carving

Carve a unique wooden character with loads of personality from privet and camphor laurel.

Wednesday 3 July – Jewellery making

Using brass and silver wire you will create unique twisted necklaces, chains and bracelets.

Thursday 4 July – Blacksmithing

Have a bash at blacksmithing and make a decorative candle holder, or a multi-purpose steel pendant.

Friday 5 July – Glass bead art

Start your own school of colourful glassfish made from molten glass.
