Glass Art Workshops

Capture the light in your home through beautiful glass art you have made yourself at one of Cobb+Co Museum's leadlighting or copperfoiling workshops.

Leadlighting involves fusing together pieces of coloured glass with lead solder to produce windows and other two-dimensional items which become a myriad of colours.

Copperfoiling is an alternative method that replaces the lead with copper foil, enabling the creation of multi-facet works such as Tiffany lamps and glass boxes.

Our leadlighting and copperfoiling workshops are conducted by local artisan, Lyn Swan (38 KB) pdf document icon. Her distinctive "painterly" technique involves the use of many different coloured and textured glasses.
