Glass Art Workshops
Capture the light in your home through beautiful glass art you have made yourself at one of Cobb+Co Museum's leadlighting or copperfoiling workshops.
Leadlighting involves fusing together pieces of coloured glass with lead solder to produce windows and other two-dimensional items which become a myriad of colours.
Copperfoiling is an alternative method that replaces the lead with copper foil, enabling the creation of multi-facet works such as Tiffany lamps and glass boxes.
Meet your tutor
Our leadlighting and copperfoiling workshops are conducted by local artisan, Lyn Swan (38 KB) . Her distinctive "painterly" technique involves the use of many different coloured and textured glasses.
